What I Wish Everyone Knew About Bowflex Treadclimber

Before Summer started I was trying to get back into the habit of using my hand-me-down treadmill from a neighbor several years ago. Well it finally gave out on me so I tried to make it a daily habit to take the kids on a walk starting the first day of Summer, but needless to say that didn’t last very long. By the time we got out of bed every morning it was already so hot and humid that our morning walk sucked the life out of me. So I finally talked to Kevin about getting a Bowflex Treadclimber. I was hesitant to spend the money on something that may just collect dust in a corner of our basement.

Well I finally took the plunge and purchased the Bowflex Treadclimber TC100 on August 25. It was delivered on August 29. Kevin put it together on August 31st. The first time I used it was Today, September 3rd. I’m going to give you the low down on the TC100.

This morning, I woke up earlier than I normally would on a Sunday, I thought about getting on the treadclimber while all the kids and Kevin were still asleep, but honestly… I just rolled back over and fell asleep again. After eating my breakfast of a left over slice of chocolate cake with vanilla icing from Kevin’s brirthday yesterday, I decided to hop on the Treadclimber. I only made it FIVE minutes before I felt like I was dying. In my head, I was asking myself how these people make it look so effortless on the commercials. Not only that but oh man was I swearing up a storm in my head. The Bowflex Treadclimber is NOT an easy workout. Especially, for those of us who are in no shape at all.

So after I recovered from my measley five minute workout on the TC100 I decided to give it another go. I made it SIX minutes the second time around (11 minutes total)! Overtime, I plan on being able to do thirty minutes a day (two 15 minute workouts).

Keep following my blog for updates on the Bowflex Treadclimber TC100 and my weight loss efforts.
